Greetings from the Graveyard Shift team. We have a number of items to talk about and we know this is off of our usual devlog schedule, but we have too much to say to let it all sit. So without further Ado, lets begin!

§First Patch

First off, the release of episode 2 of “ The Coffin of Andrew and Renee“ fanmod was a success. We have seen a number of people giving thoughtful feedback about our work and thank everyone for playing the mod! Even with a month of QA testing, the community has discovered a number of bugs and glitches that we have been made aware of and have released mod 2.1 “ Malevolent Matriarch“ and launcher 2.1 patches.

This will fix soft locks, some dialogue bugs, and a number of little changes. The way the Launcher and Game build are now set up will allow us to regularly patch and update the game to fix any issues that we may discover through the process of developing episode 3 and beyond. We will post a separate changelog for the patch soon.

§Bloopers & Outtakes

During the QA process we discovered a number of funny glitches that the team captured and wish to share along with this devlog, as we feel the community would find them as amusing as we do and wish to share the laughs!

§What’s Next for TCOAAR?

Future updates planned include a music overhaul, an achievements system, and image corrections. We will inform the community when these updates and changes will go into effect.

§Special Thanks

A special shout out and thank you to all the streamers and youtubers who have been playing and sharing the game mod with the community. Your outreach has been fantastic!

§Willows: A Dream of Shadows

Moving away from TCOAAR for a moment, Graveyard Shift also released a teaser trailer for our upcoming original title “Willows: A Dream of Shadows” on Youtube and Twitter. The response we have received has been positive and promising. We won’t be releasing the game just yet but more information will come out soon!

Many were quick to comment on the brief reveal of one of the main characters of our game, Maria. We have been amused and encouraged by a number of these comments and would like to share more about her a person. Maria Willows, is a 31 year old woman living in 1990’s (REDACTED) with her (REDACTED). Working at a video store by day, and diving into a extensive literary hobby by night only to conclude at the bottom of several bottles of beer (Or really any alcohol she can get her hands on.). With no real ambition or drive to achieve anything better for herself or (REDACTED), doesn’t lead to a well adjusted member of society. More will be revealed about Maria’s journey into the supernatural and surreal soon.

§Voice to the Voiceless

Returning to the world of TCOAAL, Graveyard Shift have one more special project in the works. We have partnered with a group that is organizing to have a VA mod for TOCAAR put together for those who wish to play our mod fully voice acted. A casting call for roles will be going live soon!
