New Parish Home and Apartments in Vracar
The construction of a new parish home on the Saint Sava plateau, approximately 390 apartments between it and Slavija Square, and the expansion of Kneginje Zorake Street to three lanes, one-way as it is now, to separate left and right turns at the three-way intersection on Bulevar Oslobodjenja, are the most significant novelties foreseen by the detailed regulation plan of the plateau near Saint Sava Temple and blocks between Slavija Square and the streets: Svetog Save, Katanićeva, Nebojšina, and Bulevar Oslobodjenja, whose elaboration for early public inspection is under public scrutiny until March 13. This document covers approximately 8.82 hectares of this valuable part of Vracar, divided into four blocks where the total number of square meters will increase by about 53,000, from the existing 137,109 to 189,402, according to the elaboration prepared by "Parallel Studio" based on the decision to prepare the PDR from 2023. The funds for the plan were provided by the Serbian Orthodox Church, Saint Sava Temple – Patriarchate.
