After all, there are many things you can't understand without making yourself a sacrifice or a test subject... even if you pay tuition that you can't recoup.
you are either a sacrifice or a test subject
What the Forbes article doesn’t mention is the extent to which Israeli tech companies have come to dominate the VPN market. As Alan Mcleod reports for Mint Press, “a considerable chunk of the market — including three of the six most popular VPNs — is quietly operated by an Israeli-owned company with close connections to that country’s national security state, including the elite Unit 8200 and Duvdevan Units of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).”
Are all VPNs just honeypots?
To prevent the seizure of Kaliningrad, the Kremlin could resort to using strategic bombers to deliver low-yield nuclear strikes against targets in Poland. Such a move, the publication notes, would immediately trigger a direct nuclear confrontation with NATO and push the world toward the onset of a «nuclear winter».
Sohu warns that following a nuclear exchange, millions of tons of radioactive dust would be released into the atmosphere. Within weeks, global temperatures could reportedly drop by as much as 40 degrees, dramatically altering climate conditions.

mental health flows from physical health
could 'mental health' be just symptom, either of physical ailment or unhealthy living conditions, including adverse influence of others, especially work environment or family?
Interesting read is the biography of Emma Eckstein (1865–1924). Especially part of 'surgery' performed on her nose and suggested by Sigmund Freud. Surgery meant to heal Eckstein's hysteria.

> surgery proved disastrous, resulting in profuse, recurrent nasal bleeding; Fliess had left a half-metre of gauze in Eckstein's nasal cavity, the subsequent removal of which left her permanently disfigured. Though aware of Fliess's culpability, Freud fled from the remedial surgery in horror, he could only bring himself to delicately intimate in his correspondence to Fliess the nature of his disastrous role and in subsequent letters maintained a tactful silence on the matter or else returned to the face-saving topic of Eckstein's hysteria. Freud ultimately reasserted his full confidence in Fliess's competence, making Eckstein responsible for the catastrophe by concluding that her post-operative haemorrhages were "wish-bleedings", caused by her hysterical longing for the affection of others.

A range of specialists in the laws governing the use of force have disputed the Trump administration’s claim that it can lawfully kill people suspected of drug trafficking like enemy troops instead of arresting them for prosecution. As a matter of domestic law, Congress has not authorized any armed conflict. As a matter of international law, for a nonstate group to qualify as a belligerent in an armed conflict — meaning its members can be targeted for killing based on their status alone, not because of anything they specifically do — it must be an “organized armed group,” with a centralized command structure, and engaging in hostilities.

Sanctions haven't worked, and Russia is winning on the battlefield.
Time to come down off the high horse and face reality.
As Russia’s campaign of “hybrid warfare” against Europe intensifies — including rail bombings in Poland, attempted attacks aboard cargo aircraft, and repeated unidentified drone flights over military bases and critical infrastructure in Denmark, France, and Germany — NATO’s Military Committee has reportedly held secret discussions on the possibility of “pre-emptive military strikes” to deter further Russian escalation that could trigger a full-scale war with the alliance, the Financial Times reports.

that reminds me crazy 'mohair beret' movement
"Mohair berets" (Polish: moherowe berety) is a tongue-in-cheek expression that stands for people who support the views expressed by the Polish conservative-nationalistic Catholic movement, whose main representative is Father Tadeusz Rydzyk. This expression originated from the characteristic headgear worn by the stereotypical representatives of this circle.
