One Month to CUSMA Review, Ottawa Has 30 ‘Technical’ Issues to Resolve Canada has officially informed the United States and Mexico of its desire to renew the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) for a 16-year term. Canadian Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc met with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Washington to address outstanding issues. While LeBlanc described the meeting as positive, he also noted “turbulence” in the discussions and presented “specific proposals” to the Americans.
