Vanilla Cinnamon Pancakes
Served on pancake Sundays at my house. Basic tasty flavorful pancakes.
Chef’s notes
To make almond pancakes instead substitute 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract with 1 teaspoon of almond extract.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ teaspoons baking powders
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups whole milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Cut butter into smaller pieces and place in a small bowl. Melt in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the milk egg, and melted butter
- Start mixing ingredients and add cinnamon and vanilla extra and continue mixing until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat.
- Pour about ¼ to ⅓ cup for each pancake.
- Brown on both sides and serve hot.
