Hackathon Summary

The OKX ETHCC Hackathon concluded with notable participation from the developer community, attracting 227 registered developers and yielding 53 approved projects. The event was structured around advancing the Ethereum ecosystem and covered a variety of tracks, including Smart Account UX & Abstraction, Next-Gen Infrastructure, Security & Privacy Tooling, as well as DeFi, RWAs & Autonomous Apps.

Developers explored a range of topics such as account abstraction, modular blockchain architectures, zk rollups, and secure on-chain finance. Several teams leveraged the OKX DEX API and experimented with XLayer integration, reflecting the event’s focus on practical, real-world EVM deployments and infrastructure innovation. The hackathon also fostered global collaboration, enhancing project visibility and encouraging experimentation in areas like stateless design, modularity, and AI-native tooling.

Key outcomes included the development of tools for user sovereignty, advancements in rollup and privacy technologies, and the introduction of new concepts in on-chain economic systems. Overall, the event emphasized collaborative, production-oriented research and development within the Ethereum builder community.

Next-Gen Infrastructure Prize Winners

1st Place: Yamata – Developed a DeFi superapp featuring a hybrid CLOB architecture and an arbitrage bot that bridges OKX DEX with their orderbook. The solution supports real-time price sourcing, automated trading, and monitoring APIs.

2nd Place: AgenPay – Launched an AI-powered crypto payment system. This platform uses autonomous agents to facilitate direct payments through Notion workspaces and features multi-token OKX DEX integration with automated scheduling, refund, and reconciliation workflows.


DeFi, RWAs & Autonomous Apps Prize Winners

1st Place: Trendpup – Created an AI-powered assistant for memecoin investment using a multi-agent architecture and OKX DEX API integration. The tool delivers trading recommendations and enables execution on both Solana and Ethereum.

2nd Place: Lendbit Finance – Built a cross-chain lending platform allowing users to borrow on one blockchain using collateral from another. The platform integrates OKX swaps for token-agnostic repayment and provides advanced liquidity routing.


Smart Account UX & Abstraction Prize Winners

1st Place: Eolia Wallet – Introduced a smart wallet utilizing X Layer and OKX DEX to streamline DeFi onboarding. The solution applies account abstraction to facilitate user transition from centralized platforms.

2nd Place: Defi in Oneclick – Developed a Web3 onboarding tool that incorporates WebAuthn passkeys with ERC-4337 account abstraction. It allows users to create wallets easily using email and fingerprint logins.

3rd Place: 0KX-PrivyDiscordBot – Integrated OKX DEX APIs and Privy wallet technology within a Discord bot, enabling secure DeFi trading using MPC wallets. The solution offers live pricing and automated Base chain swaps directly in Discord.


Special Recognition Prize Winners

  • Rivalz Auto Agents Marketplace and Agents Utility – Built an AI agent marketplace in which ERC-6551 NFT agents generate yield on cross-chain token baskets, using OKX DEX API for trading and providing liquidity.
  • Escrowzy OKX – Developed a gamified DeFi trading platform on XLayer, combining peer-to-peer trading and battle mechanics that reward users with NFTs and fee discounts.
